The mooring lock is our signature product – a patented solution offering a unique combination of clamping power and holding power.
Built for versatility
SHM Mooring Lock (MLM) accommodates all types of plates and fiber rope systems.
It's designed to handle various operations and comes with auxiliary tools; support plate, chain hanger, guide sheaves, protection bar, etc. The arm inserts can easily be replaced with smaller or larger types or even inserts for handling of fibre rope.

SHM Mooring Locks are designed with high pressure force and maximum horisontal capacity, in order to keep the mooring plate fixed at all times.
Our design philosophy: Easy installation and maintenance
The railmounted mooring lock is delivered with a common hydraulic and electrical interface which reduces installation hours, and at the same time it is easy to carry out maintenance.
SHM mooring locks can also be delivered with an optional foundation box in steel or aluminum for easy vessel integration.

The next generation
SHM MLM650 is a robust solution for larger vessels and extra heavy-duty operations. Built in high-strength Weldox 700 steel with a slim profile, it handles plates with a diameter of over Ø1500 mm and is compatible with all types of steel plates and fiber rope rings. Emergency release is included.
